Oatmeal bisquit

Oatmeal bisquit recipe

Ingredients:

  • 125 g butter
  • 125 g sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 125 g porridge oats
  • 150 g plain flour, sifted
  • 1 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
  • 150 g chocolate chopped
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon, grounded

Very chrunchy, healthy sweet! Fill your cookie jar with a classic drop cookie! Chocolate lovers will adore the chips, and whole-grain seekers will appreciate the natural oats.

Preheat the oven to 180 C / Gas 4. Line 2 baking trays with non-stick baking paper.

Place the flour, oats, bicarbonate of soda, sugar and cinnamon in large bowl and stir until well combined. Add the butter, the egg and mix thoroughly with your hands.

Take small pieces and roll into walnut-sized balls with your hands. Place, about 5 cm apart, on the lined trays. Pop into the oven for 10 to 15 minutes or until golden.
